Since my early childhood I have been deeply fascinated by marine
mammals. In the late 90’s, my passion became action and I started
to film and photograph whales and other wildlife all over the world.
Over 20 years of experince at Swiss TV has been very helpful in
this regard. Since that time I have been supporting non-profit
organizations, like the Swiss Whale Society, the Mériscope Marine
Science Centre, the Killer Whale Adoption Program in Canada etc.
My first step into the world of whales has been enabled by
ever since good friend Dany Zbinden, the founder and Swiss
marine biologist of the Mériscope at the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
I feel so privileged to have these opportunities and skills and want
them to count in adding to ocean conservation.
I am an “Impassioned Ocean Advocate” and I am proud to get
that description from my friend Jackie Hildering, the impassioned
marine educator and biologist from Northern Vancouver Island
(BC, Canada). The support of my wife Daniela has been essential
in my being about to follow this path as has been the support of
people like: Mary and Jim Borrowman (Telegraph Cove), Jackie
Hildering (Port McNeill) and Dany Zbinden (Portneuf-sur-Mer).
